Policy I support

A government policy that I agree with is the DACA program that was running before trump shut it down. It had many benefits for people who had no choice but to grow up here. They are people who only know America as their home. It gives those people an opportunity that everyone should have. DACA provides the ability for people to have the time to obtain a workers permit. As well as gives them a 2 year renewable pass from being deported. DACA means Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Utility Exercise

The thing I will be reviewing is a movie. To be more specific it is a thriller/drama movie. Some of the criteria is suspense factor, quality of characters, Storyline, quality of production. The use of the five senses makes the movie a good thriller. The antagonist that is not seen keeps people on edge because they create their own fear of what it looks like. The journey they need to take to be safe is crazy cause they must do it blind folded.

Next Right Move

What I need to do to get my paper done is to actually start the paper its self. I need to brainstorm to help figure out what kind of thing I will be reviewing; I will probably review a movie or a restaurant. After I figure out what my topic will be, then I have to write a thesis state/daft. This will help my thought process when writing the essay. Also I need to make sure I know the criteria I am using to review the product/service.

I recommend that you go to a restaurant in Alexandria called ooh's and aah's. The reason I say this is because they have really exceptional soul food. The potions are tremendously generous and compliment each other well. You know you'll get a lot of food when you order. Not to mention enough for a whole meal of left overs. I prefer this place personally because it reminds me of when I visit Family in Chicago. The fried catfish is crispy and is seasoned just right. The greens have that sweet and salty scent that makes your stomach rumble. Finally the Mac and cheese is to die for, when you see and smell it your mouth instantly begins to water.  You feels as though you've been drugged and now you're addicted to that amazing food that feels you with warmth and joy. You order to go and enjoy the meal that feels like home at home or simply dine in a laugh and stuff your face with friends in the restaurant.

Shopping

A product I recently Bought that was good was the Garlic Bread bowl White sauce chicken Alfredo. I purchase such Item from one of the food stands at autumn leaf festival l. People were recommending it and saying that its worth your money. Which I can back them up with. There so much food and soo much taste. From the noodles to chicken and finally the amazing taste of garlic topped bread that melted in your mouth. Everything was absolutely perfect as a combo and to eat.

Pump it up

Today we play against a really good opponent in football. Robinson was the talk of the town they were had been beating teams left and right. Not to mention last year the gave us a good whooping which was super embarrassing. So of course lots of people were gonna come watch. However we did not imagine the stand to be full on both the away and home sides. Plus there was a cameras that were streaming to our local news channel. I remember we needed to go four and out so we could give the ball back to our offense. It was fourth down and the were going for it. We knew they were gonna run the ball. I was getting the defense hype telling them this is were we make a statement. I turned to the crowd and raised my hands getting the crowd to scream and yell. The quarter back walks up to the center and say hike. Things move in slow motion I see the running back and I hit him along with two other players. We look down he didn't make the first down. The crowd and sideline go crazy we march down the field and we won the game.

California tumbles into the sea

It's the end of the school year and many students are anxious to finish the few days we have left. Many if not all the seniors have stopped coming to school all together. However today seemed to be very strange, there were some familiar upperclassmen faces today. This was very odd because many of the seniors vowed not to come back after they finished exams. Which mean't they were here for only one reason, to perform their senior prank. Skipping ahead in the day to the last class, I find my self trying to figure out their prank. That's when I smell a weird but ver recognizable scent. The scent of a ball gel that we only saw in commercials. The bell rings, followed with a loud boom. Next thing i know purple little balls rolling and kids falling to the ground. The seniors are laughing and recoding as they watch their orbeez mess.

Highway Patrol men

A time that brought my older sister and I closer together was when she moved out for college. I remember the week before she was about to leave, we hung out and became super close.We would stay up all night talking about all old memories. Looking up into the starry night sky giggling and laughing about anything. The last day before she left we hung out in her room listening to all the throwbacks. Singing our hearts out not caring what time it was. Finally she left and of course we had our crying moment, but that experience has caused us to be very close. To the point where she calls whenever she can and she calls for advice  on life. Even though she's the eldest we call her the youngest and I the eldest. Whenever we talk I am the quote on quote the mature one who they can depend on although I am younger.

Stolen Car

When I was eight years old my dad believed that he had the skill to drift. While my siblings and I  were in the back seats singing songs. My dad begins to proclaim he can drift like he was a fast and furious street racer. We all start laughing because we know that our dad can not drive period. To make things funnier my old sister decided to put the song Tokyo Drift on. While the song was playing my dad starts speeding up, then boom. He turns the steering wheel super hard and we start bumping on the road. All of us are being thrown around in the back like we were rag dolls. Finally after we come to a stop, you can see black marks all on the road.   This caused us all to bust out laughing and shouting how our dad needs to give up the keys.

My Expectations

My expectations for English 110 are the ability to write like a college student, have the skills to correct my own grammar, and increase my reading comprehension. I have had little English help in the classroom when it comes to writing. Many of my teachers were too focused on preparing for test that were required by the School districts. Meaning teachers only had enough time to get students to the average ability of writing, and nothing more than that. Here I expect to have much more in depth teaching. As well as receiving tips and advice on how to be a better writer. This will carry over into the real world, which will help me be more successful and prepared for work. I'll have gained the skills needed to progress onto the next level or class of writing.
